ATI TOOL EXCHANGER MOD
HD3850 cards are easier to mod because there is no separate cirquit for VDDCI and the voltage is synchronized with VGPU, just like it should be. I bolted my old trusty Thermalright SI-128 heatsink on the GPU and did the VGPU mod. Today I desided to play around little bit with one of these HIS HD3850 cards I had on my desk. The Revival (HD3850) kicks quite hard too

Would you recommend to take a 3850 for the 2nd card? Or would this slow down the 3870 wich is higher clocked?
ATI TOOL EXCHANGER PRO
I was running a Crossfire system before (2x HIS X1950 Pro 512Mb) and I now would like to get a 2nd HD 38xx. Is this because: it's only one card or because I'm running it on a PCI-E 1.0 Board? Bandwith difference is very minimal (people here have ~80, I got 72 GB/s), so I don't really understand. GPU-Z only shows 4.8 GPixel/s in my case. On the screenshots posted here, I can see Texture/Pixel fillrates of 14+ GPixel/s. I was wondering if anyone here could answer the following questions: Greetings! I have a HD 3870 from Gigabyte (mod.
